WHMI has had thousands of people join us on mission trips. We continue to marvel at how God provides for each person to GO.

You may want to start by composing a one-page letter or email that describes where you're going, what you're going to do, and why you are going. You will move to an explanation of total cost and then ask if your friends and family would like to join you on this mission trip in two ways: by praying and by giving. We suggest that you send this letter/email to 100 of your closest family members, friends and colleagues. Download a sample letter.

You can mention that the money will be tax deductible through WHMI — a 501(c)(3) ministry that is a member of the ECFA (Evangelical Council of Financial Accountability). Your supporters can either go to our website to give or send their checks to: P. O. Box 11808, Spring, TX 77391-1808.  Be sure the check is made out to WHMI and that your name is written on the MEMO line.

We always suggest sending a prompt Thank You Note to everyone who gives to support your trip. They also should receive a report of the trip when the trip is over, including an explanation of how God worked in your life and the lives of those you served.
